Abstract

This text aims to respond to a provocation that was never made, not just for the pleasure of debate, but above all because it is regrettable that the namesakes Jacques Lacan and Jacques Derrida had never discussed, as far as I know, the relation between the translator and the passer. The intention is to think about the task of the passer in comparison with the task of the translator, using as a motive a case, a case in the first person.
