The pass as an experience from the singular to the collective

This article proposes a reflection on the Pass device from the perspective of a singular experience. Drawing from the author’s own analytic experience and trajectory, the Pass is approached not only as an institutional procedure, but as an ethical operation that articulates the end of analysis with the collective dimension of the analytic discourse. A distinction is made between the so-called "clinical pass" and the device of the Pass itself, and the clinical, epistemic, and political effects of the nomination as Analyst of the School are analyzed. The Pass emerges as an invention without guarantees, sustained by the logic of the not-all, and rekindles the analytic cause in both institutional and collective realms.
