Sob a persistência do real: memória e tempo

Abstract

This article approaches the relation between memory and time, taking the concept of real in Lacan as a guide: the real that doesn’t universalize itself, that perseverates and inaugurates a new category of the impossible. For that, it is necessary to point to the three times of the constitution of the psychic device in Freud that coincide with the three times of the memory, and with the elaborations concerning the hidden remembrances and forgetfulnesses, demonstrating a tight enlacing between subject, memory and time. With Lacan there are new formulations concerning the relation between inconscient, time and real, distinguishing an inconscient outside of any sense, therefore, a memory connected to the real. From such indications the article traces some reflections about the effects of the capitalistic speech on memory functioning, taking the hyperactivity in children and the Alzheimer disease in aged people as a paradigm.
